Who We Are

Korea
Trade Center, also known as KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment
Promotion Agency), is a
statutory agency within Ministry of Knowledge
Economy (MKE)
and
non-profit South Korean government Agency
to promote bilateral business relationships between
Korea and United States. Korea Trade Center of Dallas,
Texas has been serving the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex
and surrounding states since 1969.

KOTRA
is represented in more than 100 locations in 73 countries,
working under the common goal of promoting and facilitating
bilateral trade and investment opportunities. KOTRA is to
contribute to building of a strong global market through
promoting and assisting more Korean business to succeed in
establishing a presence in overseas countries and promoting
the entry and successful establishment of foreign business
into Korea.

To help American companies to better
understand the dynamics of the Korean
economy, KOTRA can provide a variety of
incentives to global buyers to attend
tradeshows in Korea, such as speaking fees,
transportation, hotel accommodations,
arrange meeting, and much more. In 2008,
there are around 40 exhibitions planned per
industrial segment. Today, Korea has the 11th
largest economy and is the 12th
largest importer and exporter in the world.
